July 31st is the final Novelis can collection date for the 2010 season at the Oswego Speedway and fans continue to support the great recycling efforts to help out the “Cans for the Community” project which supports kids programs in Oswego County School Districts.

July has been a great month to be a race fan at Oswego Speedway.  It’s always fun to be at the race track on a night where there’s a new winner. In July of the "60th Season" of operation, there were no less than six first time feature winners at the Big O.

The 24th Annual $10,000 to win “Mr. Novelis Supermodified” has finally arrived here at the Oswego Speedway. The 19th Annual $1,500 to win “Mr. PathFinder Bank SBS” is also on the schedule this weekend. Added to the program because of early season rain is the 3rd annual “Ms. Hoosier Mama” SBS powder puff race for the ladies.

The 2010 installment of the “Hoosier Mama” event is set for Saturday night July 31st at the Oswego Speedway. Wives, girlfriends, friends and relatives of PathFinder Bank SBS Series owners and drivers will compete in the third annual eight lap “Ms. Hoosier Mama” powder puff race.

Parity is the new buzz word at Oswego Speedway, as there were two first time feature winners in Barry Kingsley and David Gruel Saturday night.  Gruel led all 45 laps en route to his victory, while Kingsley picked up the lead after early race leader Jason Simmons encountered problems.  Both Gruel and Kingsley had to hold off intense pressure in the final laps for the wildly popular wins.
