Crisafulli Eager for Oswego Debut in Top Quality Motorsports 350 Super

OSWEGO, NY (July 8, 2022) - 16 year-old karting and Micro Sprint veteran Logan Crisafulli is busy readying for his Oswego Speedway debut tomorrow night with the Mike Barbera owned, Top Quality Motorsports No. 75 350 Supermodified.

Crisafulli has spent the first half of the 2022 season competing weekly in a 602 Crate Sprint Car at Can-Am Speedway, driving for the Bartlett Family. He currently sits second in points and has already won his first feature event, but now looks forward to a new challenge on the asphalt.

“We were interested in 350 Super racing this year and had actually looked at the 75 car over the winter, but when the opportunity came to move up and drive a sprint car for the Bartletts, it was one we couldn’t pass up,” Crisafulli mentioned. “Mike (Barbera) had called this week to ask if we would be interested in renting the Super out for the weekend and my Dad was all over it. It's just a one week deal at this point and it is going to be a really big jump and new challenge for us, but I’m excited to hopefully finish the race clean and try to get comfortable in the car.”

Logan is also yet another multi-time feature winner and graduate from the Oswego Kartway, and owns three championships, a Classic win, and Fall Frenzy victory at the Bullring. After immense success in the go-karting ranks, he has spent time in a Micro Sprint for the past several seasons earning 13 wins with the top wing along with four without a wing, including at the Weedsport and Paradise Speedways. However, Oswego, he says, is something he has always wanted to try.

“It is really going to mean a lot to me to get to race at Oswego,” Crisafulli said. “We have always watched there for a long time, so it is going to be cool to get on the track. It’s different from what I am used to. The only asphalt I have raced on is the indoor karting stuff, so this is going to be a big change for me.”

While his seat time in the Barbera No. 75 remains a one-off deal for now, Crisafulli is leaving the door open for more racing at the Steel Palace in the near future.

“I want to thank Mike Barbera, my parents, Joe Schultzkie, my sponsors IPC Indy, DP Bartlett, Alkegen, Pitts Logging, IPC Indy, and everyone else who helps out for the opportunity,” Crisafulli added. “The future depends on how this weekend goes for us, and we’ll see how I like it. If I do, maybe we will look into a car and try to do more racing at Oswego.”

Crisafulli and the rest of the J&S Paving 350 Supermodified division will take on a 30-lap main event tomorrow, alongside the 50-lap Oswego Winged Super Challenge for the Supermodifieds. Racing will begin at 6pm. Tickets are still available online or at the gate.
