On June 25th, the Oswego Speedway announced a couple of offers for 2008 Season Pass holders as a result of the poor weather so far this season. After a very wet 2006 season at Oswego, 2007 went off with only the July 14th MSA event being completely lost to weather. The 2008 season got off to a rocky start but Season Pass holders will get something extra for their money in 2008 and 2009 for the loss of racing that they have experienced.

Season Passes are always designed to give the fans approximately two races for free when they buy the pass. For 2008 the savings for a grandstand Season Pass over the weekly prices was $40 or $70 if a fan purchased Classic Week tickets in combination with the Season Pass. The savings for a pit area Season Pass was $45 or $75 if a fan also purchased Classic Week.

The Oswego Speedway will again offer a $25 discount for the third year in a row when a 2008 Season Pass holder purchases a 2009 Season Pass. This renewal discount was started after the rainy 2006 season to build one more free week into the following year’s Season Pass for those who lost out on racing the previous year. In addition to the 2009 $25 discount fans will get to double their pleasure on the “Double Feature – Double Points” night on August 16th.

Fans with a 2008 Season Pass will be able to bring a guest with them for free on Oswego Quality Carpet “Hoosier Track Championship Night”. Fans that paid for a grandstand Season Pass will simply enter the main gate with their guest and have their pass hole-punched twice. For fans that paid for a pit area Season Pass, they will bring their guest to the Box Office to sign waivers, pick up their wristbands and have their pass punched. Complimentary Season Passes that have been issued by the Oswego Speedway as part of select sponsor packages will not be part of this offer. A complete list of fans that have paid for their Season Passes will be available at the main gate and the Box Office to expedite the free entry process.

The offer to bring a guest for free and continue the renewal discount for 2009 are being done by the Oswego Speedway to build more value into the Season Pass program.
