OSWEGO, NY (August 20, 2013) – The inaugural Oswego Bike Fest will kick start at Oswego Speedway on Friday, providing non-stop entertainment throughout the entire weekend inside the Port City ‘Steel Palace’ oval.

The weekend long festival, which will run from August 23-26, aims to bring two wheel enthusiasts from across New York State, the southern tier, New England, and the Mid-West to the ‘Home of the Supermodifieds’ for a 3-day weekend admission of only $15.

While Oswego Bike Fest is geared toward motorcycle enthusiasts, the festival will provide food, drinks, and entertainment for three straight days that will appeal to any and all spectators, not just those with motorcycles.

Friday’s festival line-up will begin at 2pm and includes the Bikini Bike Wash, the motorcycle Burnout Pit, as well as the first round of the Ms. Oswego Bike Fest contest.  Musical entertainment on Friday includes Jimmy Wolf at 6pm and Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band Poison Whiskey at 8pm.

Friday admission is just $5.

Saturday’s schedule will see gates open at 11am with JP Shaggy hitting the main stage at 12:30pm.  The Burnout Pit will open at 1pm with the Vertical Outlaws Stunt Show taking main billing at 2pm.

Saturday will also include round two of the Ms. Oswego Bike Fest contest and several motorcycle rodeo games throughout the day.

Joining JP Shaggy as musical acts on Saturday will be Code Red at 2:30pm, 20th Century Cowboys at 4:30pm, Emerald City at 7pm, and headlining national act Molly Hatchet at 9pm.

Saturday admission is only $10.

The final day of track activity for Oswego Bike Fest will be Sunday, with gates again opening at 11am.  Musical acts will again include JP Shaggy at 1pm, 3 Inch Fury at 4pm, and Under the Gun at 6pm.

The Bikini Bike Wash, Burnout Pit, and rodeo games will all continue throughout the day Sunday with the final round of the Ms. Oswego Bike Fest contest taking place at 5:30pm.

Highlights on Sunday will include a Military Tribute at 3pm which will honor all fallen soldiers and recognize members of the United States Army, United States Navy, United States Marines Corp, the United States Air Force, and the United States Coast Guard.

A gigantic fireworks display will cap off the inaugural weekend at 8:30pm on Sunday.

Sunday admission will be $5.

A total of three charity bike rides will take place featuring a ride to picturesque Watkins Glen International Speedway on Monday, August 26 at 9am along with a ride around the famed Speedway.
