OSWEGO, NY (April 26, 2019) - Turning Stone Resort Casino, located just off Thruway exit 33 in Verona, has signed on as the official gaming resort of Oswego Speedway for a seventh consecutive season.

The ongoing partnership with Turning Stone will bring the return of ‘Turning Stone Resort Casino Victory Lane’ and of course the popular ‘Turning Stone Resort Casino Favorite Driver Contest’ to take place throughout the regular season.

“Oswego Speedway is grateful to have had continued support from Turning Stone Resort Casino over the past several years,” said track owner, John Torrese. “The favorite driver contest has become pretty popular for our fans and we are very proud to partner with one of the Northeast’s premier destination resorts.”

In 2019, race fans will again have the opportunity to vote for their favorite driver which can be a competitor who has entered at least one event in either the Novelis Supermodified, Pathfinder Bank SBS or 350 Supermodified divisions.

Fans may vote for their driver by returning ticket stubs to the TS Rewards Desk located at Turning Stone. Upon turning in votes, speedway patrons will also have the opportunity to win up to $25 in free play inside Turning Stone’s world class casino.

As in years past, voting will be tabulated at OswegoSpeedway.com to allow fans the ability to keep track of their favorite competitor. Continuous updates on the status of voting will also be announced on the track’s social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Last year’s winner of the Favorite Driver Contest was former track champion Michael Barnes, who took hold of the honors for a fourth time over Bob Bond and Joe Gosek. Gosek was voted as the inaugural winner of the contest back in 2013.

Once again, the driver with the most votes in the Turning Stone Resort Casino Favorite Driver Contest will be awarded a complimentary pit pass for the 2020 season courtesy of Oswego Speedway.

The Turning Stone Resort Casino is a Forbes Four Star Award-winning destination resort which features world-class amenities that includes four hotels, two spas, five golf courses, more than 20 restaurants, a 125,000 square foot Las Vegas-style gaming floor, Showroom, 5,000 seat arena, and several bars and cocktail lounges with live weekend entertainment.
