OSWEGO, NY (May 15, 2018) - Since opening in December, Oswego residents have fallen in love with Skip’s Fish Fry, a family owned local business providing the immediate area’s only authentic New England style fish fry.

Following the announcement that Oswego Speedway will lease out its concession stands to four local businesses this season including Skip’s, Dino’s House of Burgers, Cam’s NY Pizzeria and Barlow Concessions, Skip’s Fish Fry has revealed their menu for the 2018 season at the ‘Steel Palace.’

“For Oswego Speedway’s fans, we wanted to provide an affordable menu with the track’s classic options as well as some new items,” said Skip’s owner Shawn Cathcart. “Our selection will bring authentic haddock sandwiches, the fan favorite Hofmann Hot Dogs, as well as the speedway’s classic french fries to the concessions in 2018. We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday nights this summer.”

Set to be available beginning with Saturday’s open practice. Skip’s Fish Fry’s menu will leave your taste buds “racing.”

Haddock Sandwiches, Hofmann hot dogs or coneys, grilled cheese, and fried shrimp will all be available along with a new option to add Texas hot sauce to any of your sandwiches.

Sides will be plentiful as well, including french fries, fried clams, cheese sticks, chicken fingers, and even deep fried Oreos.

The menu pricing is spectacular and features Hofmann Hot Dogs for only $2.50 or the speedway’s popular 'classic' style french fries for $2.00. Haddock sandwiches and fried shrimp are set at just $5.00.

Skip’s Fish Fry will be available in the speedway’s concessions for the first time this Saturday, May 19 throughout open practice which will take place from 1-5pm. Grandstand admission will be FREE for testing while pit passes are available for $25. Skip’s Fish Fry will also be the official pit concession vendor in 2018.

Racing action at Oswego Speedway begins on Saturday, May 26 with Holiday Inn Express ‘Opening Day’ highlighted by the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50’s for the Novelis Supermodifieds along with the Tony White Memorial 35 for the Pathfinder Bank SBS.
