OSWEGO, NY (March 29, 2018) -  The fifth annual Camden Proud Chicken BBQ Fundraiser is just ten days away as the event is set to take place next Sunday, April 8th at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.

Following a successful pre-sale ticket contest online which saw over 200 tickets sold including a $250 bonus from longtime sponsor Ken’s Body Shop, Proud is looking forward to seeing everyone at the event on the 8th.

“The support from fans at the Motorsports Expo, purchasing pre-sale tickets, and on social media leading up to the BBQ has been fantastic,” Proud said. “I can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity. We’ve sold a lot of tickets and thankfully have had several individuals and businesses within the community step up to support us as well with raffles or door prizes.”

Dozens of raffles and door prizes will be up for grabs as part of the event which is slated to begin at 1pm and conclude at time of sellout at Lighthouse Lanes, which is located on Jim Shampine drive adjacent to the Oswego Speedway.

Potential prizes expected to be on hand already include , a cordless screwdriver and Impact Driver courtesy of Raby’s Ace Home Center, a $100 JP Jewelers gift certificate and Tree of Life Pendant, an authentic John Force 3/8th’s air drive ratchet, GJP Italian Eatery of Oswego and Dino’s House of Burgers gift cards, a portable propane forced air heater courtesy of Burke’s Do It Best Home Center, an auto detail kit courtesy of Paint Masters in Rochester, Dunkin Donuts Gift Baskets, among many others unique raffles and prizes to be announced in the coming days.
