OSWEGO, NY – The Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series will hold its first ever event this Friday, May 19 in the new series' initial fundraiser set for 4pm at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.

Officially established and founded by Pathfinder Bank SBS driver Mike Bruce just a few weeks ago with the help of fellow competitor and Oswego Speedway Public Relations Director Camden Proud, the Pathfinder Bank SBS traveling series already has two shows in place for June 18th at the Evans Mills Speedway in Evans Mills, NY and another just five days later at the Spencer Speedway in Williamson, NY.

Excitement continues to build for this Friday's fundraiser, which will attribute funds to purse and show-up money for the first two series shows as well as added late summer and fall events to be announced at a later date.

Highlighting Friday's fundraiser will be a live performance from local band ‘On the Brink,’ which will play inside the Hall of Fame Lounge from 7-10pm. Consisting of members Bob Garafolo and Jim Eckert, On the Brink plays a variety of music and appears at a wide selection of bars, restaurants, parties, and more across Central New York.

Several potential raffle items will be on hand throughout the fundraiser from businesses such as AutoZone, Parts Plus, Canale’s, K <3 Q Chinese Food, Pet Smart, Bliss Salon, Mark’s Pizzeria, Dahl’s Diner, Monroe Muffler, Cole Muffler Brake, and many more. An official list will be announced in the very near future.

A beautiful deck cooler from Craig Soper at Lakeside Property Services has also been donated and will be raffled off among the other items.

Pre-sale tickets continue to be on-sale and can be purchased by phoning Bruce Racing at (315)-591-6674 or Proud Motorsports at (315)-532-8133. The $10 donation offers you a chance at the evening’s 50/50 raffle, plus a full Chicken BBQ or Pulled Pork dinner of your choice.
