Due to saturated grounds in the pit area we are going to have to park rigs and racers on the pavement, outside of the normal fenced in parking area, for at least this coming Friday, April 18. With that said, all pit sign-ins and driver registrations will take place at the main gated entrance to the Speedway off of City Line Rd. The process will be the same as any other race, just at a different location. Once totally signed in, registered, and paid you can proceed down to the Kartway and find a parking space on dry pavement.
IMPORTANT: Due to the fact that the pit area will not be fenced in and separated from spectators, we are required to treat the entire property as the pit area this coming Friday. This means that all patrons entering the main gate on Friday will be required to sign an insurance waiver and pay a $10 pit pass, per person. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some, but if we are going to race on Friday we have to temporarily eliminate the $5 car load policy for spectators, and move to a $10 pit pass for all this Friday. It is our hope that we get enough sunny and dry weather to move back to our normal $5 car load spectator policy for Friday, April 25.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that as soon as the wet pit grounds can handle rigs, we will move back to business as usual. If you have any questions please contact Dan Kapuscinski at the Speedway office, (315) 342-0646.
