OSWEGO, NY (March 25, 2014) – Oswego Speedway’s Mr. Small Block Supermodified of 2013, Danny Abt, will be holding a race team fundraiser on Saturday at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego beginning at 2pm.
Abt’s fundraiser will feature both chicken and pulled pork dinners for $8.
With DJ entertainment throughout the day, the fundraiser will also include several door prizes. Among the listing of prizes are a 32” Samsung LED TV, a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 tablet, a wine basket, lotto board, and 50/50 raffle.
A rookie to any form of auto racing in 2013, Abt adapted quickly at the ‘Steel Palace’ last season driving to 15th in the overall driver standings with two Top 5 finishes including a $1,500 pay day as the winner of the Mr. Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super title in August.
Driving the No. 57, Abt will continue in 2014 as a member of Four Sevens Motorsports joining teammates Jon Tesoriero, Mike Bond, and brother Steve Abt who will make a full-time return to the division driving the No. 67 piloted last year by Mark Castiglia, Tim Barbeau, and Dave Cliff.
The Road to the Championship for the Pathfinder Bank SBS series will begin on Saturday, May 3 as a part of the 64th annual opening night special at the Speedway presented by Gater Racing News featuring the first round of the Shea Concrete ‘Steel Palace’ ISMA Super Series.
