Addition to b) page 27.

The area under the driver’s seat and compartment shall be braced in such a way as to minimize the likelihood of an object puncturing the seat, cockpit or foot box area. The area should be X-braced with a minimum tubing size of 1” OD x 0.095 wall thickness OR MAY BE PLATED WITH NO LESS THAN .125” 6061-T6 OR 2024-T3 ALUMINUM PLATE to provide under side protection in the seat, leg and foot box area. This panel may be continuous or may be separate panels, either DZUS fastened, bolted or riveted in place.

The owner of the car may be asked at any time to safely jack and place the car on jack stands to accommodate Speedway Tech inspection on the bottom of the car. AS EXPLAINED IN 7b AND 7d THE BOTTOM OF THE CAR MUST BE FLAT.

Page 28. d). THE RIGHT SIDE BODY PANEL NEXT TO THE DRIVER AND THE PANEL ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FOOTBOX AREA SHALL BE OF NO LESS THAN .125” 6061-T6 OR 2024 –T3 ALUMINUM PLATE. The plate can be either bolted or Dzus fastened in place on outside of the main frame rails. In the roll cage area the plate shall extend from the lower frame rail upward to at least the shape formed by the X- BRACE covering as much area as possible. It is recommended the plate extend to the right side arm bar covering the entire side. In the foot box area it must cover the entire area, protecting the driver’s legs and feet.
