The Days Inn MSA-Oswego Wings Challenge Series, which gets underway on June 9th at the Oswego Speedway, will have one of the best MSA drivers ever joining in to try and capture this inaugural series title. This series, which is open to the best supermodified drivers from the midwest and northeast, has been the buzz of the supermodified world this past off season.

Tim Jedrzejek, the all-time winning MSA driver, will come out of retirement to run the 2007 Days Inn MSA-Oswego Wings Challenge Series at Oswego and Sandusky Speedways. Timmy J, who dominated the MSA record books in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and served as MSA President in 2006 will jump behind the wheel of one of the Reed’s Salvage team cars (#8 & #28) for a run at the Days Inn Challenge Series. Jedrzejek still sits on top of the MSA feature win list, by one, over Dave Shullick Jr.

In addition to his accomplishments on the MSA Tour in the past, Timmy J has also won the ISMA Super National 50 at the Oswego Speedway on Budweiser Classic Week in 2002 aboard the May Motorsports #7 which was the former Matczak / Didero #3 at Oswego.

Look for all of the MSA stars to travel to Oswego for the first two legs of this series on June 9th and July 14th. Oswego regulars will strap on wings for the two local shows and then they will travel off to Sandusky for the series finale on September 15th.

Tim Jedrzejek will try to pick up where he left off as he goes after the lions share of the purse and Days Inn bonus money driving for the Reed’s Salvage Supermodified Team.
