Softer, Wider Tires for Oswego Small Block Supers

OSWEGO, NY (March 20, 2014) – Oswego Speedway officially announced this week that the Patfinder Bank Small Block Super Series will contend on a softer and wider Hoosier Racing Tire in 2014, similar to what the cars competed with before the 2009 racing season.

The Small Block Super division will return to using a 10” wide Hoosier Racing Tire, utilizing a 1057 compound for right side tires and a 1040 compound for left side tires.

For the last several years the Small Block Super class has competed on 9” Hoosier Racing Tires.

The new tires will be available for Oswego Speedway’s open practice session on Saturday, April 26.

The Road to the Championship for the Pathfinder Bank SBS series will begin on Saturday, May 3 as a part of the 64th annual opening night special at the Speedway presented by Gater Racing News featuring the first round of the Shea Concrete ‘Steel Palace’ ISMA Super Series.
